Personal Computer Tools: The Softwares (Part I)

To accomplish nice things, tools are essentials. And good ones are key to realize even nicer things. The better the tools, the better the job will be done. The better the work will be effective. This theory applies to life in general, as well as for computer. Quality tools make the personal computer experience enjoyable, easy and relaxing...

What would be better for the computer than tools provided by experts who know softwares. Speaking of experts, let's talk about Microsoft and their well-known softwares.

Starting with an important part of the computer, the operating system: Vista or not Vista?... That is the question, lately. Vista looks good, there is no doubt about it. Having experience it a couple of time. The interface is good looking. I have not use it long enough to post an opinion, but it won't be long. As soon as i receive my knew laptop equiped with Vista and Office 2007, i will be in position to do so. You can post yours in the comments section if you want. Remember, i said that i was interested to acquire a portable. I think the day has come. And my mind is almost set on which one it will be. And, it might be a Dell. Now a days we are fortunate to have some conveniences that our ancesters did not have at the time... This assertion may sound a bit cliché, but it is worth reminding of this established fact, at times. It can be motivating to realize it, especially when things are not going the way expected, or when we are experiencing bad moods. To be conscious of it, allows to put things back into perspective. A portable computer can be really handy. The compact size and the wireless feature, are two interesting advantages it offers. They make user feel free and mobile.

Considering the feeling of freedom and mobility acquired with a laptop, it can become a must, especially for an active person. When i buy a portable, not sure when yet but, i would like to try a MacBook by Apple. I don't own Apple's products, but would be interested to try it. I am curious about how it operates and how the interfaces are.

There are different MacBook laptops, to suit different people, but the MacBook Pro looks pretty impressive. "The performance, power, and connectivity of a desktop computer. Without the desk part", says the publicity. Well, with the look it has, on top of this description, it is quite tempting to acquire one, i would say...

After reviewing the title, i came to the conclusion that Personal Computer User-Friendly will be more appropriate and will reflect better the content of the Blog. The initial title was a little confusing.

The Personal Computer User-Friendly Blog is directed towards making personal computer more user-friendly to people, in its way.

Personal Computer and Internet Surfing talks are the main stream of this purpose, and comments from people will contribute to the achievement of this "quest" for knowledge.

The base... The computer itself

The PC itself is an infinite source of things to do, like simply listening to music for instance. The quality of sound you can generate from regular speakers always amazes, and it can be accomplished in a very affordable manner.

When thinking of Personal Computer, the first words that come to mind are Dell™ Home. I mean, when thinking about high quality and affordable. That is only my personal opinion, i know that there are lots of companies manufacturing personal computers, but the name Dell transpires expertise and experience in my mind. Seems to me that they have always existed. Would it be exaggerated to qualify them as pioneers of personal computer?... Feel free to comment on this question.

A way to enjoy the computer experience is to play DVD's. The quality of the picture generated by a regular DVD player is pretty impressive. That makes the experience of watching a movie well improved. The DVD player along with good speakers, almost makes you feel that you are part of the movie. If equiped with a surround sound system and multiple speakers, i would say you are right in the middle of the action. Just step in and modify the course of history...

There are many companies specialized in DVD rental. Some of them offer particularly interesting advantages. This topic will be elaborate in subsequent posts.

The great experience of surfing the Net

Interesting and positive, those are the two words that surface when it comes to trying to describe the internet experience. An infinite source of knowledge, that is what amazes the most, besides being an infinite source of answers about just everything.

All there is to do, is go to a search engine, Google, Yahoo, Live Search, Alta Vista, Colossus, Kartoo, and there are several others.

From there, the world is yours to discover and visit.

I personally always use Google, i am familiar with it, and it always answers about all my questions... I haven't try the others but will surely do, curiosity leading. I would like to hear about other search engines. How they are, compare to Google. If you use a different search engine, feel free to leave your comments or if you are dedicated to Google do as well.

Personal Computer "Light" Oriented Introductory Post

When saying "Light", it is meant that this blog will be talking about personal computer and things that are related to it, in a light way. For users who enjoy doing regular things on their computer, including, of course, surfing the Internet.

It could have been named, also: "Casual Oriented Blog for PC users". Views & Thoughts, Friends & Foes, from the minds of regular users. This, with a small touch of wonder, you might notice. I personnally find it refreshing. And, there will be some interesting information to go along.

"Light", because; having visited some pretty good blogs on personal computer, that are very well done and at the fine edge of computer world and technology, comparing this one to those, made the "Light" word come naturally to the title.
